FAQ about FineFrets^tm

1) Can I install FineFrets myself?

The short answer is no. Fretboards and FineFrets^tm must be leveled properly before the instrument can be played. We recommend that you have a skilled luthier install your FineFrets^tm to your guitar.

If you are in the Montréal area, we can install FineFrets^tm on your guitar at XXL guitars shop.

2) What are the available FineFrets^tm sizes?

We currently make FineFrets from medium fretwire (0.080" wide) We will add other fretwire size shortly and upon request

3) Are measures in fractions enough?

No. We design FineFrets^tm so that they are slightly smaller than the width of the fretboard. To do so, we require the dimensions you supply us to be as precise as possible. Ideally, please use a dial or digital caliper to precisely measure the nut width and the 12^th fret width to the thousandth of an inch.
